Hen Blogs

There are thousands of Hen blogs out there … these are a few of the best I’ve found. If you don’t have the time or energy to go looking for new posts, try Feedly – a magazine page you build yourself, using links to your favourite blogs. It’s easy to set up and keeps you in touch with any news posts to the blogs you choose to follow. Why not start with a few of these …

The Chicken Chronicles (my favourite!)

Scratch and Peck (a new favourite)

HenBlog (don’t waste too much time watching the HenCam!)

The Hen Pen

Chickens on the Porch

A Windycitygal’s weblog

The Chicken Keepers

Now and Hen

Backyard Hens

The Backyard Chicken Farmer

Bellecross Hens

Garden Hens

Hen Heaven

  1. Hi there!
How long have you been blogging? I spotted your comment on Terry’s blog – I’ll have a proper look at your site later, it looks very impressive. I ran out of steam a bit with mine and was going to do great things, especially on hen medication as I worry about people getting hens on a whim and failing to spot the signs of illness. Must get round to it! Have you encountered the wonderful Libby at Retford Poultry? They have a website and are happy to do phone consults, send drugs where appropriate and do poo testing by post. I now have quite an arsenal of potions in my fridge….
