Milly grows a tail!

I went out to the girls one morning but didn’t immediately recognise her … It’s not much of a tail, but it’s totally changed her shape!

  1. Milly is looking good. One of mine looks very scruffy during hr moult, she has lost all her tail feathers. When I opened the hen house this morning only four of them appeared. I hope the other was just shut out last night and will reappear, if she has been “taken” ,they will be back for more, I must count them tonight! She was my best layer.

But don’t let that put you off … you can find the story at The Hen House Archive where there are still lots of stories, photos, and information about keeping hens I hope you'll find useful.
